~~ PHOTOGRAPHER
I’m an Adelaide based artist stepping out of the edit suite to focus on the single frame. Over the years, I’ve built up a broad range of skills across the industry—from managing the energy on set as a casual assistant director on The Babadook, to working as a post producer and diving deep into structure as an assembly and assistant editor on feature documentaries like The Angels: Kickin’ Down the Door and SBS’s Black Empire.
Having worked across everything from creative agencies and TVCs to independent films, I’ve seen the storytelling process from just about every angle. This mix of on-set production and post-production completely shapes how I operate today. It means I know how to run a shoot smoothly, collaborate with a crew, and produce work with a deep, instinctive understanding of how a narrative comes together.
My foundation in the moving image has been shaped by some incredible opportunities, including a SAFC and Mercury CX mentorship with editor David Scarborough, and a Screen Australia Gender Matters mentorship with senior producer Naomii Taylor at The Post Lounge.
While film is where I started, my main focus now is documentary-style still photography. As a regular contributor to the Montréal-based brand Hiatus Golf, I produce, shoot, and develop stories on assignment. Whether I’m working abroad or capturing projects closer to home, I love bringing an eye for detail and emotion that I would have found in the rhythm of the edit into powerful standalone moments.
